The middle of February is the perfect time to treat yourself to a bouquet of Island grown tulips. Check out all the colors at Isobel's. The ones in the photo brightened my home all week!

We will be starting our second year at the market next Sat, Feb 25! Produce we will have available for the first few weeks will be limited to spinach, salad greens and tofu. We will also be in a new and our very own location - Gary & Kelly's old spot near the main entrance.
SUNSHINE FARM will have fresh basil again. 2oz. bags for $3, picked on Saturday morning. Come early, we sell out quickly. Also, Cherry Jam is back, made with our own pie cherries. See you at the Market.
From Kettlegrove Soapworks: This week at the Farmers' Market a shampoo bar will be added to the goat milk soap products. Kettlegrove Soapworks is now making a bar which will nourish your hair as it cleans. Break a piece off and lather up! Rinse with Oceanna's nourishing hair rinse. Both products contain the nutrients provided by sea plants. You will find us between Out of Africa and Raymond, Joyce and Margie Loo. See you at the Market!
Pamela Good of Choc Full of Good makes delicious chocolates! And she now has a booth at the market for another 3 weeks. Find her near the main entrance beside Spring Water Farm's lamb products.
The Farmers Market vendors are excited to start our new blog! Though I am the one typing all the posts, this blog really belongs to all our vendors. I will be posting interesting stories about our market, like what we have to offer, what is new, hidden treasures that many would not know about, and much more. Vendors will also forward to me items they would like to post.
So if you are at all interested in fresh locally produced food or if you are interested in following some of PEI's talented artisans, stay tuned to this blog!
